I have an interview tomorrow at an agency that will, if they like me, help place me in an office administrator/assistant/receptionist type job. It’s pretty important to me, but I have absolutely nothing appropriate to wear to this kind of job, or this kind of interview.
Somehow, shopping for tailored pinstripe trousers and structured blazers devolved into buying multiple articles of clothing that the dressing room girl described as “pajamas for witches”. It seemed like she meant that as a negative thing, but to be honest it’s a pretty apt description of my usual aesthetic.
